What questions are commonly asked at interviews. Our insider informed us of all the common interview questions that are asked at interviews. This conversation was last week, hence this up-to date information for 2024.

So what are the top three questions and how to answer them are as follows:
What do you know about the values of our trust/hospital?
This question although fairly simple, does catch quite a few people out. Our insider explained, you need to learn both NHS values , as well as the values of the individual hospital/trust. These are similar, but DIFFERENT!
Therefore, our insider advised you to learn both of these before the interview. He explained, the interviewer is not only testing you on the values, but wanting to know if you are a thorough person, and you have done your research.
How do you stay organised and manage your time?
As the NHS gets busier day by day, working within this sector is bound to be chaotic. You will have to learn to priorities if you want to succeed at all.
Our insider explained, you need to demonstrate how capable you are of doing this. He explained, you can use examples from previous jobs, studies and even examples from your personal life to demonstrate how you are capable of managing your time.
Give us an example of when you have worked well in a team?
Healthcare is a team industry, and our insider revealed this is one of the top skills to assess when they are interviewing anybody. Your job is to explain how you always work well in a team. Talk about your previous jobs, your studies or even any team sports you play!
